Grant
Plant is one of the most animated
DJs breathing. Excitable, enthusiastic
and wound up like a tightly twisted
rubber band, when he twists behind
the decks, he captains a flight
that promises soaring highs, thrills
and acrobatics. Subtlety is not
his trademark. Grant approaches
programming and mixing from a
totally different style than dominates
the ranks of DJs
"I really feel the crowd.
When they are going off, it is
the driving force behind me. Their
vibe fuel's my adventurous artistic
skill, and the result is an explosion
of energy that bounces back and
forth. As a DJ, I'm very showy
to what I am doing. When the crowd
responds to that, it's wicked."
None of this is too surprising
considering Grant's preliminary
DJ steps. From an early age Grant
had a love affair with music,
as a guitarist and singer songwriter.
After mastering the 1200's he
played one of his first public
sets on a side area at the '92
Glastonbury festival. Over several
years, what started off as 500
dancers disenchanted with the
main-stage rock fare grew into
a roaring crowd of 8,000.

Making
waves in the West Coast's Underground
music culture is internationally
acclaimed'Mars' (A.K.A. Michael
Adam RobbinS) of Frequency 8.
Mars has helped create roots for
a new sound, Cybertrance, first
in Germany, secondly in San Francisco,
and the world.
Beginning with an ideal of furthering
consciousness through trance music,
Mars, with friend and partner
Mystre (A.K.A. Eric Newman), created
Frequency 8 (F-8) or Fate. Initially
the movement began as a production
company, which created and promoted
events focused entirely on this
then new sound 'Cybertrance'.
The next step was to establish
a home base and outlet for Trance
music to reach the public, especially
in San Francisco, where house
music dominated the scene. F-8
fostered Cybertrance in a tightly
knit rave community. Growing stronger,
popularity and a steadily growing
following lifted it up into the
massive scene where it became
and currently is the most prominent
sound in the Bay Area. Mars opened
Frequency 8 the record store and
it became the first electronica
shop dedicated to the Cybertrance
movement in America. Since the
initial opening in San Francisco,
F-8 has spread to Seattle, and
Los Angeles.

A
Thee-O live set is something not
to be missed. RaveOne.com put
it best when it stated that, "Thee-O's
greatest strength is that he is
never weak. Some DJ's can tear
off a great set on one night,
then crap out on another. Thee-O
oftentimes approaches greatness,
but never falls into mediocrity"
while The Rave Section at The
Mining Company proclaims: "Thee-O
continually proves to be the LA
trance master.

Christos
started spinning records at the
age of 13. He started his professional
career at 16, spinning clubs in
New York. Two years later he moved
to Boston where he spun at clubs
like Avalon, Axis, M’80
and Roxy. He was the resident
DJ for the first ever live mixing
electronic show on Boston’s
biggest radio station WBCN. He
spun alongside Moby, Keoki, BT,
Taylor, and the Crystal Method.
He soon developed a reputation
as one of the leading underground
afterhour DJ’s in Boston.
He grew tired of the strictly
enforced 2am nightclub laws and
moved to a bigger market, Los
Angeles. Once there, he locked
down residencies with some of
the hottest clubs and promoters
in the city. He’s shared
the decks with Tiesto, Ferry Corsten,
Timo Mass, Kimball Collins, Christopher
Lawrence, Sandra Collins and others.
For the future, Christos wants
to spread his progressive sound
all over North America and spend
more time in his studio producing
original material.

Beetle's
love for music started early,
of course he had know idea there
were so many different types of
music. Then two years ago (2000)
he was introduced to the Rave
seen by a close friend. From that
moment on he studied all the techniques
to learn what it was he needed
to do to become a successful Dj.
He went home and bought his first
turn tables and mixer and began
to learn. After only two short
months he spun at his first Rave.
With his fast growing name and
ever so popular music (Nu-NRG),
people began to follow.
Within months the top clubs were
demanding his incredible style
and energizing personality in
their scene. BeetlJuiceís
first big break came when Naked
LA (one of LAís top clubs)
asked him to become one of their
resident Djís. With a smile
on his face he accepted. That
became a stepping stone to his
residency at another huge club
in Orange County called Raw. Each
club holds about 3,000- 4,000
people. BeetleJuice has spun with
many artists such as: Sandra Collins,
Thomas Michael, Paul-E, Keoki,
Adam Webb, Adam Rush, Beej, and
many others.
