Adam
F built a stellar reputation in
the hiphop world as a musician
and a producer upon emerging in
the late '90s. Many in the hiphop
and rap communities believe he
has the potential to become a
master producer like Dr. Dre.
After an 18-month tour with a
live band, F proceeded to further
trek the globe as a DJ for other
artists like Goldie and Jumping
Jack Frost. Some of his demos
made their way to Def Jam Records,
who passed them on to LL Cool
J. The rapper immediately loved
F's tapes, and he had Adam F.
produce "The G.O.A.T."
on 2000's G.O.A.T. Featuring James
T. Smith: The Greatest of All
Time, his first number one album
in the U.S. Soon, F started working
with the likes of Missy "Misdemeanor"
Elliott and Lady Luck. Re-focusing
on his own career, he spent 18
months recording his 2001 album,
KAOS, which includes his own version
of "The G.O.A.T." and
the anthem "Smash Sumthin',"
featuring Redman.

The
legendary Ed Rush has been apart
of this music since the early
days. His music has always been
dark and twisted. You’ll
go mental as he smashes down the
dubplates! |

Reid's
love of jungle led her to England
in the summer of 1997. It was
there she discovered Speed Garage.
She began her collection there
and immediately began championing
it wherever she could in the U.S.
In April 1998 she started working
at Breakbeat Science, NYC's first
all drum & bass store. Soon
the store expanded to include
the sound that has come to replace
speed garage, two-step, and a
range of other breakbeat sounds.
Reid currently plays at each of
the two-step weeklies in NYC once
a month.
In addition to her full DJ schedule,
Reid has begun to focus on production,
collaborating with Ming &
FS and DJ Seen. She was recently
featured on Showtime's Shonext
channel where she co-produced
the track for her segment.
Reid has been featured or has
features confirmed in many music
and lifestyle magazines including
Urb, Mixer, XLR8R, Remix, DJ Times,
Paper, Tower Pulse, Alternative
Press, BPM, Lotus, Gear, Nylon,
Time Out NY, Flyer's "Best
of 2001" issue & the
Fader's recent "Best of New
York" issue.

Drum
& Bass is a culture with one
eye fixated on the future. To
achieve longevity within the scene
a DJ must stay two steps ahead
of the general public. The arsenal
needed to achieve this task comes
in the form of exclusive dubplates,
hard to obtain white labels, and
an acute ear for "the next
sound". Since 1991 DJ Fury
has not only met, but surpassed
all these criteria.
Fury maintains a rigorous DJ schedule
rinsing out cities such as Los
Angeles, Washington DC, Seattle,
San Francisco, and many others.
Despite this intense travel itinerary
Fury still manages to hold down
Denver by throwing monthly events
(now known as Reload) and co-hosting
one of the premiere jungle weekly's
in the nation (Breakdown Thursdays). |
